Edge Hints Corey Graves Could Join Judgement Day

Edge’s hints for new Judgement Day members continue, with ‘The Rated R Superstar’ teasing Corey Graves as his next addition alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.

Officially forming on night one of WrestleMania 38, Edge’s Judgement Day faction has grown to include Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. ‘The Nightmare’ became the latest addition to the group at WrestleMania Backlash, costing AJ Styles his match with Edge.

Edge has now taken to Twitter to tease further Judgement Day members. One particularly intriguing inclusion is that of Corey Graves. Edge tweeted a photo of ‘The Saviour of Misbehaviour’ making his entrance from when he wrestled in NXT:

Edge has previously done similar tweets to indicate the addition of Ciampa and Paige to Judgement Day, though as it stands, the group officially remains with just Priest and Ripley.

Retiring in December 2014 after suffering his second concussion, Corey Graves has since served as a WWE commentator. He’s commentated on the majority of WWE programming and premium live events, with his stint as a commentator also seeing him become WWE 24/7 Champion in November 2021.

Veteran wrestling announcers, including Michael Cole and Jim Ross, have praised Corey Graves’ skills on the headset. Cole, who’s also WWE’s Vice President of Announcing and former broadcast partner of Graves, praised the hard work he’s put in to become one of the commentary greats (h/t ESPN):

“We knew he was gonna be good, I just didn’t know he was gonna be this good, this fast. We gave him a chance and he really worked hard at it. This didn’t come to him easy. He put a lot of time in at the Performance Center, and hours and hours of work.”

Prior to retiring, Corey Graves was one of the top stars of NXT. He was part of the third NXT Tag Team Champions alongside PAC, the former Adrian Neville, and also enjoyed great feuds against ‘The King of the Cruiserweights’ and Sami Zayn.

Fightful Select reported at the start of 2022 that Corey Graves had been cleared to return to in-ring action.
