Eddie Kingston shared his latest look as he gets ready to step back into the ring.

Kingston, who is one of AEW’s most popular stars, has been out of in-ring action since May 2024, due to injury. The Mad King suffered a broken leg along with a torn meniscus and ACL during his match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence, where the former dropped the Strong Openweight Championship.

Meanwhile, fans rejoiced as the 43-year-old grappler recently shared that he had started working out in the ring, and it seems that fans can expect him to sport a new look when he returns. The former AEW Continental Champion posted an Instagram story where he can be seen sporting a full beard and a healthy head of hair.

Eddie Kingston Recently Opened Up About His Struggles While He Was Nursing His Injury

Earlier in the year, the inaugural AEW Continental Champion spoke about his battles with his mental health. while rehabbing for his return.

The Mad King was training to get back to in-ring action with former AEW star Cezar Bononi, adding that while it was a struggle, it was helping him both physically as well as mentally.

Eddie Kingston said:

I am not there. I have started running in the ring. I am still doing physical therapy and I am mentally better. Yet again, as people know, it’s a struggle, but being able to be in the ring again and work out with PT and working out with Cezar [Bononi] is helping my mental health, let alone my body. I can finally feel the ball is moving in the right direction.”

There is no official update on when Eddie Kingston is scheduled to make his return to AEW. However, fans will be happy knowing the outspoken grappler is doing well on his road to recovery.
