ECW legend and WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley made a memorable appearance on the November 6th episode of NXT, reuniting with his longtime Dudley Boyz tag team partner, Bubba Ray Dudley.
The episode, held at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, saw D-Von and Bubba Ray stepping in to assist NXT star Trick Williams during a heated brawl following Bubba and Williams’s match against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland. However, recent reports reveal that D-Von was not medically cleared to engage in any physical activity during his appearance.
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE’s doctors had not granted D-Von Dudley permission to perform in a physical capacity. While his appearance electrified fans who were thrilled to see the iconic Dudley Boyz back together, D-Von’s involvement was limited due to medical concerns.
D’Von Dudley did not get physical during his appearance as he is not medically cleared for physicality.
Despite these limitations, D-Von’s presence still brought a nostalgic touch to the show, especially given the venue’s significance as a former home for ECW events.
