EC3 Hospitalised With Infection

EC3

EC3 has taken to social media to share details of his recent hospitalisation, updating fans on his ongoing medical issue.

Posting on both Instagram and Facebook, the former WWE and current Ring of Honor performer revealed he is currently recovering from an infection that he had previously neglected. Sharing 2 photos that show Ethan Carter III in a hospital bed, EC3 urged friends and fans not call him during his recovery:

#ControlYourNarrative CAN KILL YOU•

That’s not strictly just an attention grabbing headline. it’s more of an update.

Short version; an infection I neglected proper care for, put others people’s needs before mind, went straight empath, caught up to me and broke me.

Long version; it’s extensive, I’ve been hospitalized 5 days and we’ll need longer.’

Anyways I will heal, if you want to help drop a comment or a thought or affirmation.

Please do no not text. PLEASE.all I ask. If you want to help let me be alone,

Multiple figures from the world of professional wrestling took to the comments section with messages of hope and encouragement, including Noelle Foley, Jinder Mahal and AEW’s FTW Champion Brian Cage, who wrote:

We’ve all been down but not out, one time or another. You will see this through and be back better than ever. Speedy recovery my friend.

EC3 was one of the many performers and staff released by WWE following budget cuts during the initial Covid-19 outbreak in 2020. After a return to Impact Wrestling later that year, EC3 would then make his debut for Ring of Honor on October 2020, officially signing with the company in February 2021.

No further details have been released regarding EC3’s medical status, however Carter’s Instagram post suggests that he will remain hospitalised for the time being. Currently, he is scheduled to face former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (aka Zack Ryder) at an independent event on May 27th.

Inside The Ropes wishes EC3 a speedy recovery.
