Early WWE Creative Plans For Alexa Bliss Following Royal Rumble Return

Plans for Alexa Bliss in WWE moving forward may surprise some fans.

At the Royal Rumble, Bliss made her shock return to the company as a surprise participant in the match. Entering the match at number 21 and receiving one of the loudest reactions of the night, the former Women’s Champion competed in her first match in over 2 years. With reports ahead of the match stating that Bliss may not be making her return at the event due to contract issues, many were stunned to see the WWE star back in the ring.

With Bliss now back on the active roster, fans are curious as to who the former Women’s Champion will face in her first feud. With Bliss being previously associated with Bray Wyatt, many have speculated that she will become a part of the Wyatt Sicks storyline. However, as reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Bliss has been assigned to the Raw brand moving forward.

As part of the Talent Transfer Window, all 5 members of The Wyatt Sicks were moved to SmackDown. At the time of writing, the group has not appeared on the blue brand. The Wyatt Sicks were also not a factor in either of the Royal Rumble matches.

It wasn’t just the fans who were shocked to see Bliss make her long-awaited return to the ring at the Royal Rumble. According to a previous report, many in the match had no idea that the former Women’s Champion would be a participant as she was not present in the rehearsals earlier in the week. It was also revealed who would have been in the spot if Alexa Bliss did not make her return in the match.
