A new report has indicated when the biggest matches will be taking place over WWE WrestleMania 41 weekend.
With the biggest show of the year now taking place over 2 nights, the company now has more freedom when it comes to structuring the card as two main events will take place over the weekend. Additionally, many are fans of the 2-night Mania format as it is more spaced out and not the 8-hour marathon it once was, making the show much more enjoyable.
Currently, the only 2 matches with nights confirmed are the main events as Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins will headline night one and Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena will headline night 2. However, according to a new report, the pencilled-in line-up has been revealed ahead of time.
As reported by WrestleVotes, Gunther vs. Jey Uso and Charlotte vs. Tiffany Stratton are the top title matches to take place on night one while Rhodes vs. Cena and the Women’s World Championship triple threat will be on night 2:
According to sources, below is how the individual nights of WrestleMania are currently placed:
Night 1 – Punk vs. Reigns vs. Rollins, Gunther vs. Uso, Owens vs. Orton, Charlotte vs. Tiffany.
Night 2 – Cena vs. Rhodes, Belair vs. Ripley vs. Sky, Styles vs. Paul.
While still two weeks out, it’s possible plans and ideas can change, but this is the format creative is working with.
Former WWE Champion To Miss WrestleMania?
Despite the fact that there are now 2 nights of the show, it is not a guarantee that everyone will be competing on The Grandest Stage later this month. Speaking in a recent interview, a former WWE Champion admitted there is a strong chance that they won’t be a part of WrestleMania 41.
