WWE is getting ready for another Premium Live Event with Clash in Paris happening on August 31, 2025. The card is taking shape with three matches confirmed so far.
John Cena vs Logan Paul
This match is confirmed after events on the August 8 episode of SmackDown. Paul called out Cena, and the GOAT accepted the challenge for Paris. This happened when Paul interrupted Cena, and Drew McIntyre then attacked Cena before Cody Rhodes came to help. This led to a tag match where Paul got himself disqualified by hitting Cena with a low blow. The match gives Paul one of the final spots on Cena’s retirement tour before the end of 2025.
Fatal Four-Way For The World Heavyweight Championship
The fatal four-way match between Seth Rollins, CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso was made official on the August 11 episode of RAW. Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on CM Punk at SummerSlam after Punk had just beaten Gunther. RAW GM Adam Pearce made this match official after Rollins and his “Vision” attacked both CM Punk and LA Knight during their tag team match against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Jey Uso then came out to help, leading to the four-way title match being set.

Naomi vs Stephanie Vaquer for Women’s World Championship
Stephanie Vaquer earned her title shot by winning the 20-woman Battle Royal at Evolution in July 2025. However, there was concern about this match when Naomi was not medically cleared for her scheduled match against IYO SKY on the August 11 episode of RAW. WWE is yet to give details about Naomi’s condition, but the Clash in Paris match is still advertised, with Naomi defending her title against La Primera.
While the above-mentioned are confirmed and made official by WWE, there are a few rivalries that are anticipated to make the match card:
Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre for Undisputed WWE Championship
This match seems very likely after McIntyre annihilated Rhodes with a Claymore through the announce table on the August 8 episode of SmackDown. McIntyre has been frustrated about not winning the title and took out his anger on the champion.
Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed
These two have been feuding with Reed and Bron Breakker, who have attacked Roman Reigns and Jey Uso multiple times on RAW. After each attack, Reed took Reigns’ shoes, wearing them around his neck and calling them “Shoe-la fala,” while calling himself “The Tribal Thief.” Reed has delivered several “Tsunami” splashes to Reigns, which could lead up to a singles match.
Nikki Bella vs Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship
This feud started on August 4 RAW when Becky Lynch made personal comments about Nikki Bella’s past relationship with John Cena and punched her. Lynch currently holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and Bella could challenge her for the title.

The card for Clash in Paris isn’t finalized yet, but these matches show WWE is setting up both confirmed title matches and personal feuds for their return to France.
