The Office’s Dwight Schrute Says He Will Wrestle AEW’s Sting – And Win

Dwight Schrute Calls Out Sting

Rainn Wilson, aka The Office’s Dwight Schrute, created a buzz throughout the wrestling community on Christmas Day when he called out WCW legend, WWE Hall of Famer and AEW star Sting to a wrestling match.

Wilson took to Twitter to spread some Christmas cheer as he brazenly and unprovoked declared he will one day face the wrestling icon and defeat him. Wilson threw down his Christmas Day challenge stating:

“Someday I will wrestle Sting. And I will win. You can bet on it.”

Wilson is an accomplished actor with a plethora of critically acclaimed roles throughout his career, but best known for his role in the multi-award-winning NBC show, The Office in which he is no stranger to asserting his dominance and getting physical.

As the assistant to the regional manager, Schrute was often seen protecting his Dunder Mifflin colleagues from office fires, bat attacks and the Scranton Strangler with his martial arts and voluntary sheriff deputy skills. Therefore, if Sting and Schrute were ever to meet in the ring the latter may cause the icon a few problems.

Sting was recently in action on the December 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite. During the main event, he teamed with Darby Allin and CM Punk to defeat the Pinnacle trio of MJF and AAA Tag Team Champions FTR.
