Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has posted a sneak preview of DC’s upcoming animated feature film: League of Superpets.
It was announced in May 2021 that ‘The People’s Champ’ would play the role of Krypto the Superdog in the upcoming animation, a movie that is also produced by Johnson’s production company, Seven Bucks.
Though little further detail has been announced in regard to the movie, the film is set to follow the pets of DC superheroes in their quest to form a crime fighting team of their own. The likes of Wonder Woman’s kangaroo, Supergirl’s cat and Batman’s dog are all set to feature.
Taking to Twitter, Dwayne Johnson would share a teaser for the film, showing Krypto the Superdog as well as a star studded list of actors set to feature:

Katie McKinnon, John Krasinki, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves and Kevin Hart were all announced as being part of the film, with an official release date being set for May 5, 2022.
Dwayne Johnsons role in ‘League of Superpets’ marks the second DC project currently in production to feature ‘The Great One’. Johnson is also currently filming ‘Black Adam’, a spin-off to 2019’s ‘Shazam!’.
With two movies currently in production as well as ‘Young Rock’ recently being announced as returning for a second season, Dwayne Johnson also recently announce Sven Bucks Productions will be bringing a new documentary series, ‘Behind The Attraction’ to the Disney+ Streaming service on July 16.
