Is Dwayne Johnson Returning To WWE?
Dwayne Johnson has been linked with a WWE return for almost a year but it now appears that this won’t be happening any time soon. It had been believed that Johnson would be returning to the ring at WrestleMania 39 to take on Roman Reigns in a huge intrafamily battle.
However, it has been reported that the star has told WWE that he doesn’t feel that he has time to get physically ready to compete. Despite this, it has been noted that the door remains open for The Rock to come back for a match at WrestleMania 40.
The Rock isn’t the only megastar to turn down a WrestleMania match with the news that Steve Austin has turned down matches with both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at the spectacular.
