On January 30th, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a tense game to secure their place at Super Bowl 57 in Glendale, Arizona. There, the team will take on the Philadelphia Eagles after the Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers the previous night.
While celebrating the Chiefs’ victory, tight end Travis Telce had some words for Cincinnati’s Mayor, inspired by Dwayne Johnson, The Rock himself.
“I got some wise words for the Cincinnati mayor, know your role and shut yo mouth, you jabroni!”
Kelce went on to quote some other wise men in The Beastie Boys.
“You gotta fight, for your right, to party!”

Following the game, The Rock took notice of the words and gave a shout-out to the star on social media, saying he “loved it”.
“My boy Trav out here cuttin’ Rock promos with the Love it!! @tkelce
Super bowl bound!!”
The Rock also offered some critique of the promo, saying he appreciated the less former “shut yo mouth”.
“My boy said what he said. I appreciate the venomous “shut yo” over formal “shut your” @tkelce”

Johnson is no stranger to American Football as his much-anticipated relaunch of the XFL looms large with the season set to start on February 18th with the Vegas Vipers taking on the Arlington Renegades while the Orlando Guardians face the Houston Roughnecks.
Meanwhile, it seems increasingly unlikely that Johnson can fit a match at WrestleMania 39 into his increasingly busy schedule.
While speculation had been rife for months that a dream match between The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns could happen on The Grandest Stage Of Them All, Triple H recently poured cold water on the rumours saying it “wasn’t in the cards.”
Instead, at the Showcase Of The Immortals, Reigns will face the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Cody Rhodes.
