Dwayne Johnson is the talk of the acting world right now, having just starred in DC Comics’ Black Adam as the titular character. Although portions of the film went divided among critics, Johnson’s performance is perceived as one of the shining lights of the film.
As one of the most famous actors of all time, however, it should come as no surprise that even ‘The Brahma Bull’ has his pet peeves. As revealed on BBC Radio One, the eight-time WWE Champion isn’t a fan of the smell caused by “asparagus wee-wee”.
Dwayne revealed his hatred of this particular smell during the show’s Unpopular Opinion segment. A caller named Darren dialed in, explaining to Johnson how he actually enjoys the smell of asparagus wee-wee. He was quickly shut down by the 2000 Royal Rumble winner as a result, their different views on the vegetable-rich urine too much to handle.
“Other Things” Wrestling-Related Are In Dwayne Johnson’s Future
Under the guise of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson hasn’t wrestled a ‘proper’ match since losing the WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania XXIX in April 2013. He technically competed three years later at ‘Mania 32 vs. Erick Rowan, though this was a simple Rock Bottom-and-done contest.
As rumours of him returning to face Roman Reigns at the 39th ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ roll on, it appears it may not solely be an in-ring role Dwayne Johnson is eyeing up. During an interview with BNN Bloomberg, Johnson confirmed that he’s spoken with co-WWE CEO Nick Khan on the subject of a potential role within the sports entertainment giant:
“Nick [Khan] and I have talked about that, and we always enjoy that over a bottle of Teremana.”
Continuing, ‘The People’s Champ’ explained that although he has a distinct love and admiration for the wrestling business, he doesn’t believe an executive role is something that is right for his career:
“I love the wrestling business. I grew up in it. My grandfather [and] my dad started here in Canada, where [his father] was born. So, I’m not quite too sure if a board seat is in my future, but possibly other things are in my future, for sure.”
