Dwayne Johnson Becky Lynch

The third season of Dwayne Johnson’s Young Rock series premieres on November 4th. The series chronicles Johnson’s life story, following him as a young child when his father Rocky Johnson was involved in the wrestling business to the time he joined the WWE himself and started his own wrestling journey. The upcoming season will see former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch star in the role of pop icon Cyndi Lauper, who was instrumental to WWE’s growth in the 1980’s as part of the Rock and Wrestling Connection.

According to PWInsider, Becky Lynch’s appearance will take place during an episode that surrounds a party Cyndi Lauper threw in 1985, around the time of the first WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Mr. T, Liberace, and Captain Lou Albano are also set to be portrayed as part of the episode.

I was right there for Becky’s audition and we were all very impressed at her high level commitment as an actor to become Cyndi Lauper.

No easy task, but she worked her butt off and went all in – and crushed it.
