Dwayne Johnson is known for a few things. Some people know him for his successful career in professional wrestling. Others will know him for his successful career in Hollywood. Perhaps most of all, however, Johnson is known for being extremely physically fit.
One look at Johnson’s Instagram will tell you that when he’s not mixing it up with some of the world’s most celebrities, he’s either training in the gym or eating. Of course, it shows, with Dwayne Johnson reportedly weighing 260lbs of pure muscle.
But now Dwayne Johnson has been called out about his diet. A fellow bodybuilder has pointed the finger at “The Rock” and labelled him a liar.
Is Dwayne Johnson Lying About His Diet?
Greg Doucette, an IFBB Professional Bodybuilder, recently released a YouTube video casting doubt on Dwayne Johnson’s diet. Doucette specifically takes shots at Johnson’s claim that he consumes 8000 calories daily.
“l ride bikes, I do a ton of cardio. I can tell you there is no way The Rock burns enough calories to average 8,000-6,000 calories a day and look like this.”
“If he actually ate those kinds of calories, 6 to 8 thousand calories a day, he would be a hundred pounds overweight.
“Every day I personally eat more than I see Rock eat. Yet I eat an average of 3500 cal a day. I usually eat 3 to 4 thousand cal a day.
“How can The Rock eat twice what I eat? Is he twice my size? Does he work out twice as much as Coach Greg, is he racing bikes as far as I am, is he even doing a s*** ton of cardio? I don’t think so, so how do you think that The Rock is staying in the shape that he is if he’s eating that many calories? News flash, report Greg right here, reporting the news, The Rock’s lying.”
Whether Doucette is correct or just looking for attention is up for debate. However, one look at Dwayne Johnson will tell you that he certainly isn’t on a salad-based diet. Dwayne Johnson is yet to respond to Doucette’s comments.
Recently, Johnson commented on what his wrestling dream match would be.
