Scott Hall has been in the news following the Dark Side Of The Ring episode focussing on The Plane ride From Hell. Now former WWE manager Dutch Mantell has discussed another nightmare flight involving Hall that saw the plane met by “armed uniformed officers.”
Season 3 of Dark Side Of The Ring recently resumed with an episode focussing on The Plane Ride From Hell. In 2002 a chartered flight left the UK for the USA with a roster of highly intoxicated WWE Superstars on board. The episode made headlines following revelations from a flight attendant on the plane with Ric Flair and Scott Hall being two of the names attracting most criticism for their behaviour.
Speaking on Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell – who appeared in WWE as Uncle Zebekiah and Zeb Colter – discussed another flight that saw Scott Hall and Savio Vega get in hot water:
“Savio Vega and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) is on there. He shaved Savio’s eyebrows. Savio got up and looked, then he cut his hair, and then they started throwing food. I woke up, and there was a fork sticking in the ceiling and food everywhere. So when we got to London, we had armed uniformed officers meet us and we were [originally] told we had to go to Munich. We had to go through London to Munich on British Airways. [The Officers] told us we weren’t going to British Airways because they had kicked us off the flight . . . Finally they booked another airline. We were told that [if] one person [was] out of line, you’re fired. I think Razor and Savio got fined a thousand dollars before they even got to London.”
Following the revelations contained in the episode, Ric Flair has seen his advertising campaign for Car Shield’s “paused” by the company.
