The bad feeling between Dutch Mantell and Ric Flair shows no sign of going away any time soon.
The spat between the veterans began when Mantell was highly critical of Flair’s performance during his Last match in July 2022. In the main event of a special card run under the Jim Crockett Promotions banner, Flair teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.
Flair appeared to struggle significantly during the match and has since stated that he passed out twice. In his blunt appraisal of the situation, and Flair’s comments about the match, Mantell said the WWE Hall of Famer was “full of sh*t.”
The Nature Boy wasted little time in firing back and derided Mantell as a “miserable old wrestler.”
Since then the pair have continued to trade barbs on social media, and now Mantell has challenged Flair to a debate.
In a post on Facebook, the man better known to WWE fans as Zeb Colter, fired another salvo at Flair for owing people money and not paying taxes while making a number of claims about his personal life. Mantell then challenged Flair to a debate over Zoom about their issues and Flair’s past. The former manager proposed that they charge $1 for people to view their exchange with the proceeds going to charity.
Naturally, Mantell closed with another couple of parting shots.
“So have a great day, drink about 12 beers, hit a few Tequila shots and watch some old videos from Jim Crockett Promotions when you were actually good about 40 years ago. One question…what does it feel like to literally steal $300,000 from wrestling fans on your LAST MATCH?
One fan asked another fan, “Did you see Flair’s last match?” The other fans replied, “I f’ng hope so”. See you Naitch. No hard feelings Ric but the facts are the facts. Take care sir. I still love you Naitch!!”
Ric Flair Returning To The WWE Hall Of Fame
Ric Flair is already a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, but now it’s his turn to induct a fellow legend. On the most recent episode of The Bump, Flair announced that The Great Muta will be inducted as part of the class of 2023.
It has previously been reported that Flair asked to induct Muta into the Hall of Fame.
