Dustin Rhodes Names Rising Star As

Dustin Rhodes has announced his future with AEW.

For almost the past year, rumors have been going around about Dustin Rhodes’ AEW future. The Natural One was one of the original stars to have signed with the roster back in 2019. After serving almost five years at Tony Khan’s promotion, his contract finally concluded earlier this year.

Soon enough, rumors rose about him parting ways with the company. Now, dismissing all such claims, the current ROH World Tag Team Champion has shared a major update on his future status with the promotion.

With a post on X(Twitter), Rhodes has announced his plans to remain All Elite. Rhodes thanked Tony Khan for his support before announcing a new multi-year deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Today I have signed a new multi yr contract with AEW. I want to thank my boss Tony Khan for every opportunity he has given me. Since coming here and being an original since inception, I have truly had the time of my life. Everybody knows my story, and how much I have been through in all my yrs. Lost my passion and found it again HERE in AEW
at the first Double Or Nothing. Did not expect this One Last Ride to last as long as it has, and man, what a run I have had.”

Rhodes is one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara and one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich). He has also been a part of the roster since its inception and the promotion’s first PPV, ‘Double or Nothing’ where he faced Cody Rhodes.

This makes me want to do my very best for Tony and push myself harder than I ever have. I feel loved and wanted here. I love all of our roster deeply. I want to thank the fans for all of your support. I want to thank the men and women in the locker rooms we have shared and created magic together.
