Drone Footage Captures First Look At WrestleMania 37 Stage

WrestleMania

With WrestleMania 37 only days away, aerial drone footage has given us our first glimpse of the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’.

Approaching WrestleMania, one of the most anticipated moments for fans is discovering how the arena hosting the event has been set up to become the ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All’. Over the years, the designs have become ever more extravagant, from the New York City Skyline sitting above the ring at WrestleMania 29 to the rollercoaster built at the top of the ramp for WrestleMania 33, the big reveal never disappoints.

This year, YouTube user Action Jax FPV has given us a sneak peek of the stage for WrestleMania 37, which is currently still under construction. In the video, which you can watch below, it appears that a full-size pirate ship will be at the top of the stage, something that was teased for WrestleMania 36 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the event to be moved to the WWE Performance Centre. As has been seen at previous open-air WrestleMania events, a huge canopy has also been built over the ring.

Last year, Kevin Owens made a breathtaking leap from the WrestleMania sign onto his opponent, Seth Rollins. This year, he has already promised to try his best to jump off the pirate ship. It looks like that promise might now become a reality!

“I want to do it. I can’t promise people that I’m going to do it because, you know, circumstances and whatever. But, I can promise everybody that I’m gonna try as much as possible to do it!”

WrestleMania 37 will take place on Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th and will emanate from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. For the first time in over a year, fans will be in attendance, with a 25,000-strong audience expected each night.
