It has been announced that former WWE Champions Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will meet at WWE Fastlane in a No Holds Barred Match.
The rivalry between the two Superstars has been building for a number of weeks and reached new heights on a recent episode of Monday Night RAW.
On March 8th the two met in what was called a No Disqualification Grudge Match in an effort to put all of the recent animosity to bed. However, the brutal contest would end in a no contest with neither man able to answer the referees count. The pair beat each other with Kendo sticks and all manner of foreign objects, with the match finally coming to a shuddering end as both men charged at each other with steel steps in hand, as neither combatant managed to get the better of the other.

While the match for Fastlane had already been confirmed, during the March 19th edition of SmackDown it was announced that Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus would now be No Holds Barred.
Elsewhere the WWE Fastlane main event will feature Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan. Edge will be present as the Special Enforcer after beating Jey Uso in his first match on the blue brand in ten years.
However, Edge was left with little time to celebrate his victory as Reigns charged to the ring delivering a vicious spear to the Ultimate Opportunist in the process.
