Drew McIntyre was disappointed to learn that Mindy’s Bakery wasn’t open ahead of Monday Night Raw.
The March 25th edition of Monday Night Raw is set to emanate from the Allstate Arena near Chicago, IL, and Drew McIntyre took the opportunity to visit one of CM Punk‘s favorite hometown locations.
During CM Punk’s infamous rant at the media scrum following AEW All Out in 2022, he famously ate muffins from Mindy’s Bakery in Chicago, giving the business a shoutout. He also made it clear that the establishment was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
In a video posted to his social media, Drew McIntyre took a trip into the heart of Chicago and explained how excited to was to visit a location he’d heard so much about.
“We’re in Chicago. You know what? I’ve been coming here for about 16 years, I’ve never actually seen any landmarks, and today I want to fix that, because today’s a very special day. Today I’m very much at one with Chicago, it feels like my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one.”
After locking his car, Drew McIntyre continued:
“As I was saying, this was the first place I wanted to check out. I’ve heard so much about it, I think this is the right spot. There it is! Let’s get a shot so you know where I’m at. Mindy’s Bakery. You’ve heard about it just as much as I have, I’m excited for them to fuel me for…. oh wait. You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

Much to McIntye’s dismay, the bakery was indeed closed on this Monday afternoon.
“I just drove all the way here, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, because why wouldn’t your business be closed on a Monday and Tuesday? Alright, well, probably tastes like crap anyway. To be honest, I don’t need to be eating that crap. I’ll get something else to fuel myself for tonight. Guess I’ll just head to the Allstate Arena, and I’ll see all you lovely people there.”

Despite being out of action with an injury suffered at the hands of McIntyre in the Royal Rumble, CM Punk is set to make an appearance on Monday Night Raw in front of the Chicago crowd.
