According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against an unexpected opponent at TLC on December 20.

Dave Meltzer has revealed that the current plan is for Braun Strowman to challenge Drew McIntyre at the festive event as a result of the Triple Threat Match which occur on the November 30 Monday Night Raw.
On the November 23 edition of the red brand, ‘The Monster Among Men’ was removed from qualifying after putting down Adam Pearce with a headbutt. In his place, AJ Styles defeated Randy Orton, Riddle went over Sheamus and Keith Lee best WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley.
The expect plan is for Braun to battle authority and return during next week’s main event to make it an unexpected Fatal 4-Way which he will then triumph in, setting up a meeting with Drew McIntyre on December 20.
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was not active during the Survivor Series fallout after being choked out by Roman Reigns on November 22.
