Drew McIntyre Tells WWE Fans To Contact Triple H With Their Frequent Demands

Drew McIntyre has admitted that he is the wrong person to talk to in regard to something that fans have been wanting to see for a long time.

Ever since returning to WWE, The Scottish Warrior has made his entrances to the instrumental track Gallantry. Although the song suits McIntyre very well, it is not the fans’ preferred choice of entrance music for the former World Champion. In 2010, McIntyre first made his entrance to the song Broken Dreams and stuck with the theme throughout his first run with the company. Despite being back since 2017, the only time that Broken Dreams has been heard since was when a brief clip was played before McIntyre made his entrance in the main event at Clash at the Castle in 2022.

While appearing on The Bump, McIntyre revealed that every day he is asked that question and reminded the fans to learn the lyrics for when the day comes:

“Wow, that’s the first time I’ve ever heard that question [laughs]. I get that question literally every day. I’m not exaggerating. Every single day. I’m always asked about it. We had a little tease at Clash at the Castle. The cool thing about it was, the fans sang along, as I knew they would because I’ve talked about it for so long. I always tell everybody learn the lyrics to ‘Broken Dreams’ because when it happens, you better know them.

McIntyre continued, noting that this was not his decision to make and that if fans want the change that badly they should take it up with Triple H:

What’s the Cody thing? You better get ready to learn the lyrics to ‘Kingdom’, so you better get ready to learn the lyrics to ‘Broken Dreams’. When it does happen, and it’d be cool if we get a little teaser at Mania. I don’t know if it suits the character right now, but instead of tagging me, start tagging Triple H. He’s made it very clear on the show that he’s the man in charge, so tag his arse to death, saying we want a version of ‘Broken Dreams’, and I’m sure it will happen,”

During the same interview, Drew McIntyre rejected a proposed WWE alliance.

Has Drew McIntyre Re-Signed?

McIntyre’s contract status is still a significant talking point among fans. Despite multiple outlets previously reporting otherwise, some are under the belief that McIntyre has re-signed a new deal after being advertised for live events in the summer and being put in a top position for WrestleMania. A recent report provides clarification on Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract.

H/t to Fightful.
