Ahead of WWE’s United Kingdom spectacular Clash At The Castle, Drew McIntyre teamed up with Welsh pop sensation Tara Bandito for an impromptu Welsh lesson!

On September 3rd, WWE will be bringing a huge stadium show to the United Kingdom for the first time in 30 years. WWE Clash at the Castle is scheduled to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, just a stones throw from Cardiff Castle.

The last event of this magnitude to be held in the UK was SummerSlam 1992, where conquering hero, the British Bulldog defeated Bret Hart to win the Intercontinental Championship in front of more than 80,000 adoring fans.

WWE Clash At The Castle will be a huge night for all involved, but especially for Scottish native Drew McIntyre, who will be roared on by a capacity UK crowd.

Ahead of ‘The Clash’, McIntyre recently caught up with Welsh pop star Tara Bandito to discuss all things WWE, and try his hand at learning a little Welsh.

In the clip, you can see McIntyre, complete with Scottish accent, attempt to get to grips with a handful of helpful Welsh phrases. In an unexpected twist, McIntyre also discovered that in his younger days, he wrestled for Tara Bandito’s dad!

With ‘The Clash’ three months away, no matches have been announced for the show as yet, but that doesn’t mean that a number of WWE Superstars don’t already have their eye on the event.

Appearing on the June 3rd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Drew McIntyre set his sights on Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, promising to take his title in the UK.
