Drew McIntyre channeled Eminem for his latest jab at CM Punk.
Stan is one of Eminem’s most iconic tracks. Featuring a sample of Dido’s Thank You, the song tells the story of an obsessed fan who becomes increasingly angry at not having heard back from his idol Slim Shady. The song has a tragic end, with Eminem writing the fan back only after he’s already driven off a bridge and taken his own life along with that of his pregnant girlfriend.
Taking to social media, McIntyre shared a video of himself writing a letter of his own as Stan plays in the background. However, McIntyre’s message was much more concise as he simply wrote:
“CM Punk is a b*tch”

Why Doesn’t Drew McIntyre Like CM Punk?
On a recent edition of The Pat McAfee Show, McIntyre opened up about his ire toward Punk, saying:
“He made my life hell when I was a kid. I was young, naïve, new to America, and could barely figure out how to pay bills, never mind making it in WWE. He could have helped me and helped me navigate those waters instead of actively hurting me.
I’ve figured it out. I’m one of the top dogs in WWE. I’m a big, giant, angry monster now, and I’m going to smack him around. He breaks so easily, I don’t want to hit him so hard, he’s made of glass. Every time I break him, he goes away, he rehabs, he keeps coming back to the Terminator, so I need to figure out a way to take him out for good.” (h/t Fightful)
