Drew McIntyre has re-signed with WWE and The Rock gave him a special gift to mark the occasion.
Earlier in April, it was reported that Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract was only weeks away from expiring as the two sides had been unable to reach the finish line on agreeing new terms. However, The Rock has now announced that a deal has been reached and McIntyre will continue his career in the company.
On Instagram, The Great One posted a video showing McIntyre being presented with a claymore on his behalf. The Scottish Warrior thanked Rock saying he was a “man of his word.”
In his post, The People Champ congratulated McIntyre on the new deal and explained the meaning behind the claymore.
