Drew McIntyre Previews His Upcoming Street Fight On WWE UK Tour

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is looking forward to a homecoming as part of a WWE European Tour that will see him take on Jinder Mahal in a Glasgow Street Fight.

McIntyre and Mahal have recently been embroiled in a feud that saw the one-time 3MB partners face off one-on-one at SummerSlam. On that occasion, the Scotsman was able to get the better of his opponent and claimed a big win at The Biggest Party Of The Summer.

Now after well over a year, due to the pandemic, WWE is returning for a tour of Europe that will surely see Drew McIntyre get a hero’s welcome as he returns to compete in Glasgow, Scotland where he made his name.

Speaking to Inside The Ropes’ own Kenny Mcintosh ahead of the event, Drew McIntyre says Jinder Mahal does not know what’s waiting for him in a Glasgow Street Fight:

“Poor, poor Jinder, he doesn’t even know what’s in store for him – it’s one thing having a street fight in America, but he doesn’t know what we get up to in the streets of Glasgow, where anything goes.”

McIntyre then recalled the time where he actually took to the streets of Glasgow when he faced former WWE Superstar Rhyno in a match:

“Myself and Rhyno wrestled into the actual streets of Glasgow, made it into the national papers for battering each other, and Rhyno’s like ‘man you guys are crazy,’ I was like ‘yes, we are crazy, we’re absolutely mental actually.’ Poor Jinder, I just feel bad for him, we’re such close friends over the years, and seeing as all my friends turn on me in the WWE from Sheamus and Jinder, maybe I’m the problem. But he’s going to get absolutely battered, and it’s going to be amazing and we’re going to have a big party afterwards in Glasgow – I can’t wait.”

If you want to see Drew McIntyre potentially take Jinder Mahal for a beating down by the River Clyde, tickets for McIntyre’s homecoming at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow are still available here.
