Things are starting to get heated up between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk ahead of WWE Bad Blood.

With only a couple of hours left, fans are set to witness one of the most violent matches in the promotion’s history. The Bad Blood PLE is set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, and Punk versus McIntyre is scheduled to open the night.

While Hell in Cell matches are expected to be vicious, Drew McIntyre has shared a violent prediction ahead of his match. Speaking on X (Twitter), McIntyre predicted to finish of Punk’s career and conclude their animosity. After ten months of hatred, the two former World Champions are set to put the final nail in their feud tonight at Bad Blood.

Their rivalry started at Royal Rumble when McIntyre injured Punk’s tricep while performing a future shock DDT.

Ten months in the making… I had some plans for some online carnage this week, but life is a way of altering plans. So these are my final thoughts. I’ll be honest, the last few months have been tough for Drew McIntyre professionally, but the last few days have been really tough for me and my family personally. Nothing was going to stop me from making this match, though, nothing. Hell in a Cell changes people. This time period has changed me.

Ten months ago, I was looking to be a footnote at WrestleMania, but wasn’t gonna let that happen. I won the chamber, won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. I won the Money in the Bank, main evented the first PLE in Scotland, and then defeated CM Punk in his first singles match back in the company. Not too bad, but tonight is gonna be the finishing touches on a career-best, a career year, by ending the professional wrestling career of CM Punk.”

Drew McIntyre Vouches To Finish His Feud With CM Punk At Bad Blood

As McIntyre continued speaking on the video, The Scottish Psychopath vouched to put an end to their rivalry tonight. He claimed that he does not care about the order of their match, and only wants to destroy The Second City Saint.

It doesn’t matter if we’re on the pre-show, opening the show, halfway through the show, or in the main event. Everyone can go home and look at the match afterward. I appreciate everybody getting angry. Get angry for us. I ain’t angry. All that matters is this match happens. This match ends. This thing ends tonight. The hatred dies.

Think of promises. Always a good promise is: It’s not going to be a classic, it’s not going to be cinema, it’s going to be brutal, it’s going to shorten our careers. It’s gonna be mutually assured destruction, and there will be blood. I apologize in advance for what people will see tonight.”

Punk and McIntyre were expected to main event the PLE, but a recent report from Fightful Select noted that the plan was changed this Monday and the two were asked to open the night.
