On a recent podcast, Drew McIntyre is revealed the wrestler he believes should induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.
While Drew McIntyre and Sheamus have been feuding on WWE television on and off for years, the duo share an amazing bond in real life, which is evident from their social media activity. The last time the European stars faced off was on the July 29, 2022, episode of SmackDown, in which the Scottish star picked up the victory and earned to right to face Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle PPV for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
In his appearance on the “Hollywood RAW” podcast, Drew McIntyre named Sheamus as the one person he would want to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. The former Universal Champion also revealed that Sheamus was the best man at his wedding and he’s going to be the best man at Sheamus’ upcoming wedding:
“Oh God, it’s gonna end up being Sheamus, ain’t it? He’s been there since before we both got signed. The good times, the bad times. I am best man at his wedding coming up. He was best man at my wedding. We give each other hell all the time. As everybody sees, we fight more than me and my actual brother. What people get to see on TV as well as backstage they don’t get to see. But yeah, it’s gotta be Sheamus,”
Speaking of Sheamus, WWE has announced that the Brawling Brutes will be taking on Imperium in a Six-Man Tag Team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match at Extreme Rules. Sheamus will also be challenging Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on the October 7th episode of Smackdown.
