This is why Drew McIntyre has called some of WWE’s new wrestlers as “freaking p***ies.”
A part of WWE for several years now, The Scottish Warrior is arguably one of the toughest men on the roster. Completing his Hell in a Cell match last year despite getting busted open and even suffering a broken glass shard in his eyes, McIntyre recently commented on the toughness of the promotion’s talents.
Appearing in an interview on the WAFFLIN podcast, McIntyre revealed the lengths he would go to finish a match. He followed it up by citing Triple H tearing his quads in 2001 as an example.
“Unless I was dead, I would continue the match. We’ve seen examples like Triple H; he tore his quad off the bone but continued the match. He was even put in the Walls of Jericho, a maneuver that puts pressure on the quads, even though his wasn’t attached.”
However, McIntyre further stated that while he believes the entire WWE roster possesses the same mindset, he was not sure about certain new talents.
“That’s the kind of mentality most of our superstars have. Or maybe that’s just some of them, because some of the new guys are freaking p***ies.”

McIntyre is now highly rumored to face Damian Priest at WrestleMania 41, although the match has not yet been made official.
Drew McIntyre Shares His Honest Thoughts About His Relationship With The Rock
During a recent interview with Daily Star, Drew McIntyre addressed his relationship with The Rock and shared his honest thoughts on it.
“I absolutely can not tell you any information on that, but what I can tell you is one of the narratives I see online is that people don’t pay close attention to the stories. Why is Drew always talking about The Rock? I thought he hated the Bloodline? No, I hate people that wronged me personally. If somebody wronged me, I have an issue with them, just like anybody in real life.
The Rock has actively looked out for me my whole career since I was a kid. Himself and his business partner ex-wife Danny have always said such positive things to me. He put me over in a TMZ interview when I wasn’t doing anything in particular that justified him saying I was going to be the next big star when I re-signed with the company.
You know, he’d sent the sword, sent me some really nice words that I’ll never reveal to the world. We got a chance to catch up at the Chamber. We had a really good talk and there are some things on the horizon, some big things in the world. We’ll see when it’s time.”
In other news: Will Ospreay has responded to the rumors of this major new AEW signing.
In another interview, Drew McIntyre confirmed that he stormed out of the Royal Rumble.
