WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and AEW Star Jack Perry had the wrestling buzzing when they took a picture together and posted it online as a jab at CM Punk.
Punk’s AEW run famously came to an end after he had a backstage confrontation with Perry at All In 2023. The two had beef over a spot Perry wanted to do that involved real broken glass. Punk said no but Perry did it anyway during his match at Wembley Stadium against HOOK.
After the match, he and CM Punk got into a legitimate fight, which resulted in them being suspended and Punk getting fired from the promotion.
Since his spectacular return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames, Punk and McIntyre have been at each other’s throats. The Scottish Superstar took offence to Punk’s presence and has taken every opportunity to ridicule the former AEW Star.
McIntyre has taken multiple jabs at Punk during their feud but took it to another level when he and Perry met in a chance encounter.
How Did Drew McIntyre And Jack Perry Meet?
Speaking to Gorilla Position, the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre revealed that he spotted the current TNT Champion on his flight and got chatting before suggesting they should take a picture together.

On the same flight (McIntyre responded when asked how the photo with Jack Perry came about). He was just right in front of me. I had a chat with him. Lovely lad. His girlfriend’s really nice, flying to L.A. and just said, ‘Hey, we should take a picture together. We’re both wrestlers. I’ll put it on the internet. Give ya a little rub (McIntyre laughed),’ and people reacted crazy.
