Drew McIntyre Blasts Young WWE Talents Because “They Don’t Bl***y Listen”

Drew McIntyre Storms Out Of Interview After Ripping Into Fans & Wrestling Industry In Blistering Rant [Video]

Drew McIntyre has called out the young WWE talents.

Debuting as The Chosen One almost a decade ago, Drew McIntyre soon found himself in the mid-card and then even lower. Following a run of unimpressive outings, McIntyre departed WWE and built himself up in the Indies.

Sporting an impressive new physique and charisma, he made his way back to the promotion and soon elevated to the main-event scene. Rightfully a veteran now, Drew McIntyre recently blasted the young WWE talents who prefer to listen to internet opinions rather than asking for advice from the veterans.

Recently, speaking on The West Sport, The Scottish Warrior said:

You’ve got to have something that makes you stand out. You could be 5’8” and still have something special that sets you apart. Look at Rey Mysterio — he’s a superhero and he’s 5 feet tall. You’ve got to find your thing that makes you stand out.

I give all this advice away for free in these interviews because all the new guys just listen to Twitter, and it tells them how good they are. They think, ‘I must be good, Twitter’s telling me I’m good,’ even though they’re not really on the show very often.

All these veterans are here to ask for advice, but they don’t. I give it out for free in interviews, and they just don’t bl***y listen, do they?”

McIntyre is a former three-time World Champion in WWE and currently finds himself involved in a feud against Cody Rhodes ahead of Clash In Paris.

Drew McIntyre Wants To Retire John Cena

Earlier this year, while appearing on the No Holds Barredpodcast with Jan Murphy and Rob Wong, Drew McIntyre shared how he wants to retire John Cena before the end of this year:

It’s not would, either. I think it’s should, 100%. When CM Punk first came back, peoples’ instant reactions were ‘I’d like to see this or this and my name wasn’t mentioned. I was like ‘Hey, there are plenty of stories here,’ with my personal feelings and the environment we live in and if I get the chance, I’m going to make this frigging count.

With John [Cena], I’ve got 10 times the stories. There are very few people who were around him, especially those growing up around him, left. Cody [Rhodes] and I are the only two who are under 40 from that previous generation that grew up around John and have a lot of things to say, a lot of them are chummy, chummy. I may have some more interesting things to say. I do have some more interesting things to say and when, not if, I get the opportunity, on the microphone, much like Punk.”

In other news: Brock Lesnar credited with changing this former WWE Champion’s career.
