Drew McIntyre and Sheamus have been embroiled in a simmering rivalry for a number of months and things came to a head on the March 8th episode of Monday Night RAW.
The Scottish Psychopath and The Celtic Warrior met in a No Disqualification Grudge Match which was as brutal and hard-hitting as you would expect.
Both men hit each other with Kendo Sticks, Sheamus hit McIntyre with a Spinebuster on the announce table and both men were battered from pillar to ring post in a frenetic battle.
The match came to an end when both men ran at each other with sets of Steel Steps above their heads meeting in a bone crunching collision which caused the match to be waved off, as neither man could continue.
Following the match, both Superstars took to Twitter to show off their hard earned battle scars after the bruising contest.

The Miz shocked the world by cashing in his Money In The Bank Briefcase at Elimination Chamber, pinning Drew McIntyre, before quickly losing the title to Bobby Lashley on RAW. Appearing on a recent episode of Raw Talk, McIntyre was full of praise for the veteran Lashley, commenting that “he’s earned this moment.”
Meanwhile McIntyre’s adversary Sheamus has been singing the praises of his former tag team partner Cesaro, saying that he didn’t know if he would still be in WWE if it wasn’t for the Swiss Superman.
