Roman Reigns and The Usos attacking Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre was the victim of a brutal attack on SmackDown with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline laying waste to the Scottish star.

The main event of SmackDown in Detroit saw The Bloodline’s associate Sami Zayn step up to the plate to face Drew McIntyre. McIntyre survived interference from The Usos to put Zayn away with a Claymore for the win but the battle was far from over.

After the match Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his presence felt, nailing his Clash at the Castle challenger with a spear. The Usos then swarmed on Drew McIntyre, laying him out with repeated chair shots before sending him across the announce table at ringside.

WWE on social media has now shared the battle scars of McIntyre following the attack, showing the harsh reality of life as a WWE Superstar.

Elsewhere, SmackDown saw the finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament set with Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah seeing off Sonya Deville and Natalya to earn their place in the final against IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.

Also on the show, Xavier Woods returned, channeling both Kevin Nash and Linda McMahon as he and Kofi Kingston took the fight to The Viking Raiders.
