Drew Gulak Removed From WWE TV Following Recent Allegations

Drew Gulak was notably absent from a recent episode of WWE NXT, and there have also been further signs that he will be gone for the foreseeable future.

On April 2nd, Ronda Rousey spoke with Newsnation and recounted an incident during her time in WWE where someone grabbed the string of her sweatpants:

I was standing there and this guy I was barely an acquaintance with grabs the string of my sweatpants as I’m walking by…and nobody reacts as if this is abnormal, and he’s going down the hall and I’m like ‘what the f*ck is that? Why are you grabbing the string of my sweatpants?

At first unable to remember who it was, Rousey later identified the individual as Gulak. The allegation from Rousey also comes at a time when the backstage environment is under heavy scrutiny following the disturbing details that emerged in the Vince McMahon lawsuit filed by Janel Grant. The following day on social media, Gulak responded to the allegations on social media:

Backstage at a WWE event in 2022, I saw Ronda talking with a group in the hallway. I stopped to say hi and shake all their hands, and in an attempt to shake her hand, I accidentally touched her drawstring. Complete accident, and one that I had apologized to her for the mishap.

Gulak has appeared regularly on NXT and is a part of the No Quarter Catch Crew alongside Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and Damon Kemp. During the April 9th broadcast of NXT, Dempsey discussed his recent appearance at Bloodsport alongside Borne and Kemp and appeared in further segments throughout the evening. Gulak was not seen in any of the backstage segments.

Later in the night, Kemp and Borne competed in a tag team match against Stacks and Luca Crusifino. As the No Quarter Catch Crew made their entrance, Gulak’s name has been removed from the graphics:
