Dragon Lee To Make Main Roster Debut

Dragon Lee

Dragon Lee is coming for Dominik Mysterio.

In recent weeks, Lee has continued to clash with Mysterio, with the North American Champion helping Mustafa Ali to victory over the star on the September 5th episode of NXT despite being the special guest referee.

Fast forward to September 18th on Raw, and Lee was in the crowd while Mysterio was strutting his stuff. In this case, that meant being defeated by Cody Rhodes.

Later in the show, it will confirmed Mysterio will defend the North American Title against Lee on Raw on September 25th. Although the match will be Lee’s first on the main roster, it’ll be his second attempt at trying to prise the gold from Mysterio’s grasp.

When Did Dragon Lee Sign With WWE?

Dragon Lee signed with WWE in December 2022, although his debut was delayed due to visa issues.

The star began his career with CMLL in January 2014 before making his Ring of Honor debut two years later. The second-generation star also found success in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Lee went on to appear on AEW Dynamite, teaming with his other brother RUSH and Andrade El Idolo in defeat to The Elite in the AEW World Trios Title Tournament.

Since joining up with WWE, Lee has mainly been chasing the North American Title, while clashing with the likes of Mustafa Ali, JD McDonagh, and Nathan Frazer.
