Doudrop may have broke bad on Raw but she has her sights set on an even bigger prize in WWE – finding out who the real Viper is.
Before entering the world of WWE in 2017 as part of the Mae Young Classic, the current Raw star was known as Viper on the independent scene. A change of name for WWE came and the Scottish grappler became Piper Niven during a two-year spell on NXT UK.
It was when Niven made her Raw debut in June 2021 at the side of Eva Marie that Marie christened her sidekick as Doudrop and a star was born.
Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro Doudrop clearly hasn’t forgotten her roots and says she’d love to mix it up with WWE’s resident Viper, Randy Orton:
“It’s gotta be Randy [Orton]. Me and him have some historic beef over who the real Viper is. I think he’s great, and I’m really enjoying him and Riddle’s tag team together, getting to see a different side of him. They’re just so multi-faceted and such good people to learn from.”
Doudrop’s intergender aspirations don’t end there as she wants to surpass Chyna, Beth Phoenix, Kharma, and Nia Jax’s achievements and win the men’s Royal Rumble match:
“I know they have a pretty hard stance on things, but it’s always been a dream of mine to be the first woman to win the male Rumble. Whether that even comes into fruition or not, we’ll see – but that’s always been a dream of mine… You’ve just gotta hope. I think if anyone can do it, it’s gotta be Doudrop, right? I’d love to be in a Men’s Royal Rumble, and I’d absolutely love to win it. I fancy my chances!”
Doudrop showed her fangs on the most recent edition of Monday Night Raw as she attacked former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
