Raw Superstar Doudrop named the fellow Scotland native she’d love to see work with WWE!
Clash at the Castle is set to be a blockbuster event with Drew McIntyre taking on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event. Ahead of the show, fellow Scottish Superstar Doudrop spoke to WWE UK.
During the interview, the former Piper Niven was asked which celebrity she thought would make an excellent WWE Superstar in light of Logan Paul’s recent success in the company. Doudrop’s answer named a fellow Scotland native, that being Karen Gillan of Doctor Who and Guardians of the Galaxy fame.
“Karen Gillan, the incredible red-haired actress that was in Guardians of the Galaxy. She would be an awesome WWE Superstar. She has plenty of chutzpah and she’s already had lots of training from being in superhero movies, so she knows how to rough and tumble. She would make a great faction with me and Nikki A.S.H!”
This wouldn’t be Gillan’s first collaboration with the company as she starred in the 2013 WWE Studios production Oculus, where she played a woman trying to clear the name of her brother who was accused of murder by proving that the crime was committed by a supernatural mirror. The film also starred Katee Sackoff of Battlestar Galactica fame and Rory Cochrane who’s known for his role as Lucas in Empire Records.
Karen Gillan is also well familiar with telling stories through action as she starred as Amy Pond in the long-running series Doctor Who as well as portraying Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise alongside WWE Legend Dave Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer.
