WWE Superstar Doudrop has been talking to the company’s UK branch to promote the upcoming Clash At The Castle premium live event.
Doudrop was most recently seen on the 15 August episode of WWE Raw, where she and Nikki A.S.H took on Alexa Bliss and Asuka as part of the Women’s Tag Team Championships tournament, tapping out to ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’.
In an interview with WWE UK ahead of Clash At The Castle, Doudrop was asked what fans can look forward at the ‘momentous stadium event’:
“Do you know what? I think the fans can look forward to having the most exciting matches with the best WWE Superstars, but do you know what I think is the biggest takeaway from this event? I think it’s what the WWE Superstars can expect from the Welsh fans, because it’s going to be absolutely wild. It’s going to be crazy and it’s going be one of the best events they’ve ever performed at.”
The card for WWE Clash At The Castle, which is set to take place in Cardiff, will be headlined by an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between defending champion Roman Reigns and the United Kindgom’s own Drew McIntyre.
Drew has been feuding with Roman since SummerSlam, and when speaking on a recent episode of SmackDown, was attacked by Karrion Kross in his return to WWE programming. Kross was released from the company in November 2021, but has since returned to the company following Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque taking over the writing process.
