“Don’t Screw My Guy Up”: The Undertaker Warns WWE About This Top Star

The Undertaker Believes This WWE Star Should Be Dominik Mysterio's Bodyguard

The Undertaker wants this top WWE star to continue to shine.

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker hasn’t been shy about his praise for Gunther in the past, making it clear that he sees the current World Heavyweight Champion as an impressive star and a “throwback.” In fact, Undertaker believes he could have drawn a lot of money if he’d been able to face off against Gunther.

Speaking with Teddy Long on a recent edition of Six Feet Under, Undertaker discussed whether or not he believes Gunther needs a manager. According to The Deadman, the Imperium leader can speak for himself and already has assistance in the form of Ludwig Kaiser.

“Yeah I don’t know, [Gunther is] such a good—he cuts a good promo though. He’s got that other guy. He’s got [Ludwig] Kaiser, too. So, I don’t know man. Don’t mess with my guy. Don’t screw my guy up, dude. I agree, he needs to be more chicken sh*t.”

Teddy Long then chimed in, echoing Undertaker’s praise for the World Champion.

“Gunther, he is phenomenal. With his accent, and the way he cuts a promo, I don’t think he needs a manager. I think he can do it all by himself. The manager to me, with him, it would take away from him. He does a good job by himself. I wouldn’t put anybody with him.” (h/t Sportskeeda)

Gunther Compared Himself To The Undertaker

When asked about Undertaker’s praise for him in a June interview with Keith Whittier, the former Intercontinental Champion expressed gratitude and said he believes there are similarities between himself and The Deadman.

“I mean, that’s great, obviously. Like you said, the feedback of the fans is what dictates our journey, how successful that’s going to be, but I guess for every professional, it’s always something else when it comes from up here or a colleague. It’s nice to hear those nice things and I chat with him sometimes when we run into each other at a WrestleMania or something. The style he worked for his career, I think it’s not that far off that he would be positive towards me because I think it’s somewhat similar.” (h/t Fightful)
