Don Callis Reportedly No Longer An Executive With IMPACT Wrestling

Don Callis Kenny Omega in AEW

In recent weeks there has been increased speculation about the status of Don Callis with IMPACT Wrestling.

Callis joined IMPACT as Co-Executive Vice President alongside Scott D’Amore in December 2017, later joining the commentary team.

Although Callis has since stepped out from behind the announce desk he remained in his executive role. However, it has now been reported by Fightful Select that Callis is no longer an executive “in any capacity” with IMPACT and Anthem Sports and Entertainment.

The report adds that Callis will remain in his current role with Kenny Omega, and the two were present on the first day of recent IMPACT tapings. Fightful also note that the move hasn’t come as a surprise to those inside IMPACT.

“Most talent that we’ve spoken to have said the move doesn’t come as a surprise as Scott D’Amore has led things since pretty well the beginning.”

Don Callis cemented his allegiance with Kenny Omega at AEW Winter Is Coming helping the star to win the AEW World Championship. In the months since the event, Callis has continued to appear by Omega’s side as he later won the IMPACT World Championship.

Kenny Omega currently stands as a triple world champion and is set to defend all three titles in the coming months.

At Double or Nothing, Omega will defend his AEW crown against both PAC and Orange Cassidy, while he will take on Moose at IMPACT Against All odds.

Most recently it was announced that he will defend his AAA Mega Title against Andrade at TripleMania. The former WWE Superstar previously appeared during a pre-taped segment at AAA’s Rey de Reyes where he called out Omega.
