Don Callis Posts Wholesome Video Following Kenny Omega's Recent Hospitalisation

Don Callis has shown a rare break in character in a recent social media post regarding Kenny Omega.

Despite Callis expressing an onscreen hatred towards Omega on TV ever since he betrayed the former World Champion in favour of Konosuke Takeshita, the real-life relationship between the two has been well documented. Knowing Omega from an early age, Callis has been closely linked with The Best Bout Machine for decades and has played a big part in Omega’s success around the world.

With Omega currently in hospital battling diverticulitis, Callis has shared a message to the AEW star on his Instagram page.

As Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis plays, a series of photos are seen documenting his lengthy relationship with Omega over the years. Multiple heart-warming photos are seen in the montage which also includes photos from Omega’s childhood and multiple humourous portraits that were commissioned.

Social media account Pro Wrestling Clips has uploaded the video to Twitter:

Understandably, Chris Jericho announced on the December 20th edition of Dynamite that the previously announced match where The Golden Jets would challenge Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the Tag Team Championships will no longer be taking place at Worlds End.

“It’s been six days since Omega was hospitalized. And by the way, he is doing better, but he’s got a long road ahead of him.”
