Dominik Mysterio’s Planned New Hairstyle And Gear Will Bewilder WWE Fans

Dominik Mysterio at AAA Alianzas

A third-generation wrestler and WWE fan-favorite, Dominik Mysterio, is known for many things, one of which is his appearance. His mullet and mustache have become part of his identity. It appears ‘Dirty’ Dom has plans to change this getup.

Dominik Mysterio stole the Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker in a Fatal 4-Way at WrestleMania 41 by pinning Finn Balor, in a match that also featured Penta. Perhaps his biggest challenge to date will be his upcoming title defense against two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles at SummerSlam inside MetLife Stadium this weekend.

Aside from his role on Monday Night RAW, Dominik Mysterio also plays a role in AAA. He was singled out for his impeccable ability to evoke reactions from fans by Triple H recently, who called him a “star.” Dirty Dom has challenged the AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo along with his WWE colleagues El Grande Americano and Dragon Lee, who will also be featured in the upcoming AAA TripleMania 33 show on August 16.

What Does WWE IC Champion Dominik Mysterio Have In Mind Regarding A New Look?

Speaking on WWE’s Break It Down series on YouTube, Dominik Mysterio revealed big changes he had in mind for his face and gear. According to The Judgment Day member, he will retain the La Parka material for a while longer, but he has already begun designing a new gear.

As for his face, ‘Dirty’ Dom looked back at his bleach-blond hair when he first appeared on WWE TV as a child in 2005. He said he would seriously consider reverting to that look, as it was “toyetic” and easily a good-looking action figure.

I’ve had someone draw it out for me of, like, the next evolution of what I want my gear to be… and change it up a little bit,” Mysterio said. “I’m gonna rock the La Parka and the OG Dom stuff for a little bit more, but I got some stuff in the works that’s, like, super cool.

I’ve been thinking about bleaching my hair again… I think in my head I think I’d look cool but also like insane if I just bleached my whole head like bleach blonde exactly like this and leave my mustache just dark,” he said.

AJ Styles is one of the most beloved veterans of the pro wrestling industry, but he is self-admittedly in the twilight of his in-ring career. Is The Phenomenal One going to humble the punk kid and win the Intercontinental Title one more time at SummerSlam, or will Dominik Mysterio add another feather to his cap? We’ll find out on August 3 on Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam.
