Dominik Mysterio’s Monumental Win at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Sparks Disaster For The Judgment Day

Dominik Mysterio is now the king of luchadors.

In the main event of the Worlds Collide: Las Vegas show on September 12th, Dominik Mysterio successfully beat El Hijo Del Vikingo to win the AAA Mega Championship. Creating history in the process, ‘Dirty Dom’ became the first Mysterio to win the AAA mega title and become a double champion. The 28-year-old also became the first person to hold both the Intercontinental Championship and the Mega Championship at once.

However, his victory became possible only after the interference of El Grande Americano. Helping Mysterio with the metal plate underneath his mask, El Grande Americano helped secure Dom the victory and teased his official addition into the faction.

However, not everyone was happy with El Grande Americano’s addition. Following the conclusion of the bout, as Mysterio celebrated with Americano inside the ring, fans across the globe spotted a disgusted Finn Balor taking glances at the duo and sharing something with JD McDonagh.

Their look of disgust became more prominent when Mysterio went forward and hugged Americano. Balor has always been wary of El Grande Americano. For some weeks, tension has been spewing amongst the faction members. And now, Mysterio’s newfound friendship with the luchador could mean trouble within the villainous stable.

Dominik Mysterio Gets Honest About WWE Stars’ Salaries

Earlier this year, during an interview with Bradley Martyn on Raw Talk, Dominik Mysterio opened up on WWE main-roster stars’ salaries.

“Main roster, once you’re on TV like Raw or SmackDown, you’re making good money. Definitely six figures, around there. Depends on what you’re doing. For the year. It depends on what you’re doing. When you’re first getting signed, if you’re doing an NXT deal, that’s different. From NXT, you move on to the main roster, that’s a whole different contract. Now you’re main roster and not NXT. The money depends on how you’re getting used, your merchandise sales, action figures, video game stuff. There is so much that goes into it. It’s hard to say a specific amount.”
