Dominik Mysterio’s growing differences with The Judgment Day continued as he walked out on them on WWE RAW.
Tensions between Mysterio and his teammates (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez) have been apparent over the past few weeks and even months. Recently, the quartet took exception to Dirty Dom talking to El Grande Americano backstage about a possible alliance.
Their plan surely worked out after Americano distracted AJ Styles in his Intercontinental Title match against Mysterio on RAW in Paris. The WWE Superstar stopped Styles from executing his Phenomenal Forearm on Dirty Dom by headbutting him using his loaded mask, allowing the intercontinental champion to retain.
In another backstage segment over at The Judgment Day clubhouse, Mysterio appeared as his teammates were talking. Balor asked him about El Grande Americano and what his deal with him was, but the Intercontinental Champion reiterated that it’s just a “lucha thing” and that they won’t understand.

Frustrated about being interrogated about the masked WWE Superstar, Mysterio went on a tirade as he just wanted help in his upcoming match at World Collide against El Hijo del Vikingo. He exclaimed that he wouldn’t seek help from others if his teammates weren’t banned on the ringside last week in Paris. Dominik then walked out on the group
As the tension was starting to grow, it might be only a matter of time before either one of them betrays the other.
Rusev Will Challenge Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Penta and Rusev went one-on-one this week on RAW for the right to become Dominik Mysterio’s new number-one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. El Zero Miedo and The Bulgarian Brute unleashed their best against each other in their quest to inch closer to the singles gold.
A couple of distractions from The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller discombobulated Penta a little bit, but he was able to bounce back and combat Rusev.
In the end, it wasn’t enough as The Bulgarian Brute hit a massive Machka Kick on the masked superstar to become the new challenger for Mysterio’s belt.
