A Dominik Mysterio title match has been announced for Money in the Bank 2025.
June 7th has turned out to be an extremely busy day for WWE and some of its superstars. Stephanie Vaquer and Chad Gable are confirmed to compete in two matches tonight, first at Worlds Collide and later at Money in the Bank.
However, in the first match of the night during Worlds Collide, Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana defeated Latino World Order. However, soon after the match, Octagón Jr got into a confrontation with Intercontinental Champion Mysterio and Liv Morgan, who were present at the ringside.
Soon after, the confrontation turned into a brawl between the two. They continued to fight in the ring and had to be separated. Dominik Mysterio then challenged Octagón Jr to a match at Money in the Bank PLE, later in the night.
While till now, the MITB match card was only four matches, it has now turned into a five bout match card.
Dominik Mysterio Calls Himself Better Than Several Hall Of Famers
During an interview on The Babyfaces Podcast, Dominik Mysterio hailed himself a better Intercontinental Champion than Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Pat Patterson, and others.
“There’s a bunch of guys that I’m better than that have had this title. You got the Honky Tonk Man, you got Bret Hart, you got Stone Cold, you got Shawn Michaels, you got Pat Patterson. I’m better than all of these guys. I don’t know how old they were when they won it. They’re all fossils at this point. But like, for me, I think that I’m only going to give you three, because I feel like five fishing for something there. I don’t know if I like it, so I’m gonna go with me at number one, Eddie at number two, and then number three, I’m gonna go with JBL. I’m gonna give JBL his flowers.”
