Dominik Mysterio is not a big fan of these two veterans’ upcoming WWE returns.
In the next few hours, the Stamford-based promotion is set to enter its brand-new era. With a WrestleMania adjacent show planned with multiple appearances from Hulk Hogan, Logan Paul, The Rock, and many more.
However, ‘Dirty Dom’ has opened up his mind about it. The former NXT North American Champion is not very fond of these returns and recently addressed his thoughts on it. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, ahead of Raw on Netflix premiere, Mysterio was asked about The Rock’s return on 6th January.
Calling both Dwayne Johnson and Cena “old heads”, Mysterio commented,
I don’t even like to talk about these old heads because I feel like, no offense, but you got guys like [The] Rock and [John] Cena coming in, and it’s like, I don’t know, they saw something cool and they’re like, ‘Oh, let me jump on the train.”

The Judgment Day member had previously called CM Punk an old head as well. While The Brahma Bull last wrestled at WrestleMania 40, Cena’s latest match was on 8th April against The Judgment Day. Mysterio believes despite not actively wrestling, the “old heads” can barge in whenever they see something cool.

Ahead of the new year, in an interview on Twitter (X), CM Punk laid out his New Year goals. Hoping to beat everyone in his path and win all the championships, he further took a shot at Dirty Dom’s stash.
“Win the Royal Rumble, beat everybody, win all the titles, continue to make the New Day dress in the janitor’s closet, and shave Dominik Mysterio’s mustache.”
