While several stars reacted to R-Truth’s recent WWE departure announcement, fans have also been left dejected by his exit.
The former 24/7 Champion took to social media to announce he had been released from WWE, which was later clarified by additional reports. R-Truth would be leaving once his contract expires, as WWE has chosen not to sign a new deal.
In the replies to Truth’s announcement, several fans reacted to his sudden exit, with one fan calling the veteran the best 24/7 Champion, who won it 54 times before it was dissolved in 2022.

Dominik Mysterio acknowledged the news surrounding Truth by sharing a throwback image from their time during the Judgment Day angle. A few other members associated with the group, including Damian Priest and Raquel Rodriguez, also seemed quite sad by the development:
R-Truth Recalls Memorable WWE Angle
R-Truth had several memorable moments in WWE, and many recently happened between him and Dominik Mysterio. Both men were part of an amusing story involving Tom and Nick Mysterio.
Speaking on Rush Hour Morning, R-Truth shared that the people who thought about the Tom and Nick angle were he and Rob Fee, WWE’s Director of Long-term Creative.
“That was Rob Fee and myself. When he said the name at first, we both laughed, we knew it would work. That’s one thing about the wrestling business, if we laugh at it, we know everybody is going to laugh at it. That’s how we pick and choose. I can’t take credit for all of that one,”
