Dominik Mysterio Accuses CM Punk Of ‘Killing The Business’; Brings Up Embarrassing Moment

CM Punk Has An Unfortunate Plan For Dominik Mysterio's Mustache

Dominik Mysterio has gone ‘no-holds-barred’ on CM Punk.

Since Punk’s 2023 return, he has maintained a cold war with Mysterio. While Dirty Dom was The Second City Saint’s first opponent upon his return, the duo are yet to collide against each other in a televised rivalry.

Recently, Punk called out Rhea Ripley’s on-screen relationship storyline with Mysterio, from a few years ago, and claimed it was only possible as fiction, and termed it a ‘business killing’ moment:

One time, they wanted [Rhea Ripley] to be in a relationship with Dominik Mysterio. Who is going to believe that? ‘Hey everybody, here is a Greek goddess and she is with this f***ng nerd.’ Come on. That exposes the business more than anything we’re going to do on Netflix. Who is going to believe that shit? Dominik Mysterio, little b***h.”

However, the current Intercontinental Champion did not take the allegations lightly and has now hit back. Speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of Shak Wrestling, Mysterio brought up one of Punk’s embarrassing past moments and accused him of ‘killing the business’ with it.

Nothing kills the business more than someone thinking they are actually good enough to go fight in the UFC and get their a** beat not once but twice. If you want to talk about ‘nothing kills the business more,’ just go watch CM Punk’s fights in the UFC. You tell me what kills the business more. Let me call my friend Mickey Gall real quick and see what he thinks.”

The Second City Saint lost both his UFC fights to Mickey Gall and Mike Jackson, respectively, although the latter was later overturned to a no contest after Jackson failed a drug test for marijuana.

Mysterio is now scheduled to defend his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at SummerSlam 2025, while Punk challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title.

Dominik Mysterio Confirms Recent Injury

Recently, speaking to Jeff Teague on Club 520, Dominik Mysterio confirmed his recent injury, which prevented him from participating in in-ring action for the past few weeks.

I dislocated my two lower ribs. They were digging into my cartilage. That’s why I was hurt. Everyone thought I was faking it, but I was actually hurt.”
