Dolph Ziggler, Former WWE Talent Backstage At Los Angeles AEW Dynamite

Dolph Ziggler NXT Champion

Raw star Dolph Ziggler was backstage at the latest episode of AEW Dynamite in Los Angeles, CA.

AEW made its long-awaited debut in Los Angeles, CA for the June 1st episode of Dynamite, and many stars were in attendance. Actors Vince Vaughn and Macaulay Culkin were shown in the crowd, and fashion icon Jeff Hamilton presented Swerve Strickland with a custom-made jacket in a backstage segment.

However, one of the stars who wasn’t seen in the crowd was Raw star and former NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler, who was in attendance backstage according to a report from Fightful Select. According to the report, Ziggler – real name Nick Nemeth – was in attendance to visit friends at the show, which is unsurprising as his brother Ryan Nemeth.

The report from Fightful Select also notes that CJ Perry (formerly known as WWE’s Lana) and Renee Paquette were backstage as well, visiting their husbands Miro and Jon Moxley repsectively. Miro shockingly made his return to action on the show after nearly eight months away, facing Johnny Elite after the former John Morrison signed an open contract to face anyone in AEW.

Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, MJF cut a scathing promo that’s being compared to CM Punk’s Pipe Bomb before begging Tony Khan to fire him. After the promo, new AEW World Champion CM Punk came out to confront him, but MJF fled through the crowd.
