WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is no longer calm.
Last night on the August 11 edition of the red brand in Quebec City, all hell broke loose when multiple stars on the roster started losing control of their actions.
While General Manager Adam Pearce tried to control the chaos, things did not seem to favor his calls for peace. Following the conclusion of the episode, Pearce attracted a lot of negative criticism about the way he ran the show.
However, notwithstanding the comments, Pearce decided to speak up. On WWE’s official RAW Recap podcast, the General Manager snapped at Sam Roberts for the latter’s comments.
Roberts said:
Ever since SummerSlam specifically, it feels like you’ve been leading very emotionally. And it doesn’t feel like the General Manager of a show, generally speaking, should be leading with emotion. My opinion.”
However, an angry Pearce snapped back and chimed:
Your opinion? Well your opinion don’t mean squat to me, how does that sound? I wear my heart on my sleeve every day of my life, because I love what I do and I love the people I do it with. So do not insult me, Sam Roberts.”
The RAW GM further opened up on his decision to announce the World Heavyweight Championship Fatal-Four-Way Match for Clash in Paris:
If Seth Rollins feels like he’s being punished, pobrecito Seth Rollins. You stole the World Heavyweight Championship, now you will prove that you are worthy of calling yourself the World Heavyweight Champion.
If that sounds emotional, it’s because it’s filled with emotion. Clash In Paris, we find out if Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is the World Heavyweight ‘Freakin’ Champion.”
The main event of the night saw Rollins interfere during the tag-team match between Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk & LA Knight.
Other moments across the show saw The MFT jump promotions and appear on RAW, while Rusev and Sheamus continued brawling all around the arena.
WWE RAW Star Naomi Possibly Out For A Long Time
Ahead of the August 11 episode of RAW, Women’s World Champion Naomi was declared medically unfit to compete in her title defense against IYO SKY on the red brand.
While the promotion failed to provide a concrete update on Naomi’s condition, the title match was scrapped, and SKY was put in a bout against Roxanne Perez.
Now, almost a day later, Bryan Alvarez of WOL has shared a major update on Naomi’s future.
